Celebrating 2011 with gratitude! It is the perfect time to reflect and get clear on all that we have done or achieved over the past year, as we enter these last few days of 2011. It is so easy to think about or to focus on what we did not accomplish. Yet, with a simple shift in our perspective and by asking ourselves a few questions you can realize how much you have accomplished this year!
I invite you to grab a piece of paper or journal to ask yourself a few questions………

~ Who has blessed my life this year?
~ What do I choose to let go of that is no longer serving me?
~ Celebrate your accomplishments: Jot down all of the skills, knowledge, insights, growth, and awareness that you have gathered during this amazing year!
~ What am I grateful for in this present moment?

Happy Holidays, My beautiful friends!!!
I am grateful for this time of the year for so many reasons! I love the houses all dressed up in lights creating a beautiful glow in the evenings. I love my Snowman Christmas tree it’s all sparkly blue, aqua, and silver, with white and blue lights. I love to turn all of the lights off and watch the lights twinkle! What a treat! I love the shows, concerts, pagents all celebrating this time of year! I love eggnog!!! Yes, I do! In my coffee and tea! What a treat, I am secretly wondering how I can keep some around all year long! Hmmmmm…. It’s cool in Phoenix that alone is time for me to sing!
Speaking of singing, I love the Christmas songs on the radio, and selecting the perfect gift and card for the people I love and who have blessed my life. Some may say gifts are a bad thing…. and that is not the point of the season. To me they are just another way of sharing my gratitude! Take some time this holiday season to share your gratitude to the ones you love! Take 2 minutes to tell them how much they mean to you! This simple act can transform your holidays, your relationships, and YOU!

Today as I sit and watch the rain fall, I am grateful for my eye sight to be able to watch the rain fall and to type this blog. I am grateful for umbrellas, wind shield wipers to keep dry. I am grateful for fuzzy socks and warm fuzzy blankets to cuddle up with and keep warm. I am grateful for Christmas music playing thanks to my dandy ipod! I am grateful for hot tea in my favorite mug! And I am grateful for the sparkle of my tree this evening!

Today is my favorite day of the year! A day where we here in the United States take the time to say the simple words of THANK YOU! We share our gratitude with one another! Today I want to tell you how grateful I am for each and every one of you!
I invite you to consider sharing your gratitude with 5 people who have blessed, touched or impacted your life! Take the time to tell them in person eye to eye, heart to heart and tell them the ways they have blessed your life. If meeting in person is not possible a simple phone call or a handwritten letter is perfect! Know that the words you share when they come from your heart will make a difference in their life and in yours. There is something magical that happens when we share our gratitude with other!
A few people that have blessed my life in extraordinary ways are: My husband Kurt who blesses my life everyday with his love and acceptance of me as I am. Rev. Alan who blessed my by teaching me a new way of connecting with others in Unity and with seeing God in every face I meet. Robert Macphee a friend and mentor has blessed my life in so many ways from believing in me to granting some of my biggest goals! Sara a dear friend that always inspires me and always brings me joy and a laugh. Richard Maraj who reminds me of the truth of my being and fills my heart with inspiration! My dear friend Melissa who is like the sister I have always wanted! I am so grateful and so blessed you are in my life!!! And each and every one of you along this path, I am who I am because of each person that has blessed me with your presence! I thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am grateful for YOU!
