My gratitude journey!
My path to gratitude started in October of 2001 after seeing a beautiful soul named Mattie Stepanek who was serving as the Goodwill Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He was just 10 years old at the time he appeared on a little show you may or may not have heard of called the Oprah show! (HA!) I was amazed by his story, to see this sweet little boy who lost so many friends and family in his lifetime, and who faced many health challenges, and to see that he could be filled with such peace, love, and gratitude. I believe he was there as a guide to say to me, if he could feel gratitude, love, and peace in the midst of challenging situations than surely I could too. That day I started my very first gratitude journal I cleverly named, “My Gratitude Journal,” which has become the foundation for my life. Gratitude has helped me to see the blessings in every moment and every experience in life. It has become my purpose, my passion, and a sheer pleasure to help others to tap into this miraculous gift. Gratitude is a gift that can instantly lift your spirit, connect you to your source, and change the way you see the world!
